We are thrilled to announce, Tardi, a financial wellness and investment platform, has changed its name to Aura. While we love Tardi, we do not want to give the impression that anyone is “late” to the game. The best time to start investing is right now — you’re not late, you’re right on time.

We are on a mission to transform financial wellbeing and our new name captures this vision — Aura is multidimensional with several aligned definitions across three languages.

  • Personal — “A distinctive and pervasive quality or character of an individual” (En) — personal finance is personal, what works for someone else may not work for you. At Aura, every user is unique and comes with a personal money story, relationship, and financial situation.
  • Practical — “wind or breeze” (Lat. & Gr.) — we are on a mission to demystify finance and make investing a breeze
  • Aspirational — “will have” (Fr. future, plural tense) — Aura is a community of people seeking support and guidance to take control of their financial future — we do this work together so that we can grow and prosper as a community.

Finance is about more than what is in your bank account. Aura addresses the emotional, behavioral, and technical components of finances and investing. The new name reflects this holistic approach to financial wellness addressing personal wellbeing and financial security together.

“Aura is both etherial and practical — it represents the inner, individual work that must be done to achieve balance and wellbeing in our lives.”
